Board Member

I lived in Kenya, Nairobi and recently moved to California – which is where I am residing now. I have a history of doing a lot of social work and trying to improve the lives of disadvantaged people; as much as it has been within my reach. I started off my career as a teacher and then progressed as a principal in various schools in Karachi and Dubai. I also owned and operated my own school from kindergarten to the tenth grade, which was very challenging; until I had moved to Kenya, Nairobi.

I have been volunteering my time with Give the Needy Foundation in Kenya for the past several years.  Give the Needy Foundation helped me open a window of opportunity to help families one at a time in Nairobi. I think it is a great platform from which we are able to support a few families on a regular basis, so we could see the impact in the long run. I remain a Board Member with Give the Needy Foundation and happily associate myself with this nonprofit.  I continue to help the lives of families we support in other 3rd world countries. I hope by reading this you will open your heart to help families in need, whom I am truly dedicated to help improve their lives.

“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. I do not agree with the big way of doing things.”
